Thread Cutting Screws at Empire Bolt & Screw

Thread Cutting Screws are similar to Thread Forming Screws in that they create their own threads in the mated material, however they do so by cutting away and removing the material into which they are driven.  Because of the cutting action of the threads, low torque is needed to drive these screws.  They are available in a variety of thread points, with Type F, Type 23 and Type 25 being the most commonly available.
